RIVA Helping Accounting Company Improve Contractor Controls
Mclean, VA, JUNE 2011 – RIVA has been awarded a contract by PDS Incorporated to establish a social media capability that will increase awareness of the company’s government-specific accounting software among prime and sub-contractors to the federal government.
With unique software that enables contractors to comply with the Department of Defense’s (DOD) Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) accounting requirements, PDS is searching for creative methods to increase awareness and develop relationships with small business owners to enterprise executives. RIVA’s engagement in this opportunity is intended to install a social media capability, drive traffic to the company’s website, engage online audiences, promote the product among potential users, and help increase products sales.
Although RIVA has an in-depth understanding of governmental accounting methods, the PDS project offers an opportunity to further develop the firm’s capabilities in communicating with, between, and among the federal contracting community and government clients.
